Irene Margaret Hoschke was born on 4 February 1910 in Grafton, New South Wales a second daughter for Harold Robert Hoschke and his wife Alice Maud Margaret Morris,

Irene married George Edward Victor Hodgson on 23 December 1939 in Auburn, New South Wales.

She died on 12 May 2001 in Oatley, New South Wales, at the age of 91. She was a dearest Aunt and great Aunt of her nieces and nephews and their families.
