Ted was born on 13 September 1881 in Orange. He owned land at Orara where he grew bananas. During WW1, he served in the artillery in France. Later he married, Margaret, and had one son. He died on 28 August 1971. Most of the following material is from Paul Hoschke who was a grandson of Ted.
