Albert John HOSCHKE was born on 27 Jul 1879 and died on 22 Jan 1939, at age 59.

In 1905, Albert secured a highly contested purchase of 200 acres of land. 13,000 acres of crown land has been released for purchase or conditional lease, and Albert’s brother Harold Hoschke was also bidding for the same plot.

Also in 1905 Albert saved the lives of two farmhand’s whose tent was washed away in fast rising flood waters.
